One of the top attractions is the World Centre for Birds of Prey, which is helping the Peregrine from the endangered list, and they have placed more than 6000 birds back into the wild. This is not a big site, so do not expect this to be very large, but it is informative and a great way to spend a day.

There are museums to stroll through, such as the Boise Art Museum and the Idaho Historical Museum. Eating out is easy, with a lot of choices, here in Boise such as the Le Coq Rouge for healthy European and International foods. There is the Bardenay Restaurant and Distillery with good food and good atmosphere.

If you like shopping then Boise has many fine shops and galleries. Take the children to Powell’s Sweet Shop for a great walk down memory lane, for you, and a whole new way of getting sweets for the children. Check out what is being shown at the Boise Egyptian Theatre, while you are there.
