HOTELS IN ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA

You can book a three day pass that is called a hopper and this allows you to use California Adventure Park as well. There is so much in the way of theme parks you can miss out on other things such as the Muzeo, a history museum that has a Rome exhibit and people in costumes.

For the older child and lets be honest a lot of adults as well there is the Flightdeck Air Combat Centre, which is a flight simulation centre and you pilot fighter jets in cockpit simulators, how cool is that. Here are a few things that cost little to no money, for the children or family to do.

There is a helium balloon in the Preview Park and while they charge for parking you can go up to 400 ft and see a wonderful view of Orange County, great picture moments, and the children will love the ride.

View the sunset and watch the people while walking along Huntington Beach Pier and the Main Street, they have live concerts and there is a diner at the end of the pier. Stroll around a farmers market and see how much fresh food there is and what great crafts there are to see.

Hotels in Anaheim, California Part Two: Anaheim is in the Orange Country of California and is known for its theme parks but there are some other things to do here as well as having a great time at the theme parks. There are three historic districts.

There are beaches to explore and play on; some being more popular than others so you have a choice of quite or busy. For the older children, who may find the magic of Disneyland has faded, there is a great place to go which is the Knott’s Berry Farms Park; this is a water park and there is a theme park, all at good prices, where the children are free to run and play, great for the teens.

Close by Anaheim is Santa Ana with good beaches and there is the Discovery Science Centre where you learn and play. Mini golf is a few miles from Disneyland off the 91 north-east, and here you can enjoy the fun of mini golf, in a good atmosphere.

Teens may like to go to the Block of Oranges where there is a skateboarding and roller blading, at the Vans Skate Park. Close to this there is a mall, which has bowling and a movie theatre. There is also an ice skating ring, by Harbor Blvd and Lincoln Avenue; this is where the Anaheim Ducks hockey team train.

This hotel is half a mile from Disneyland. This hotel offers a nice extra and this is a movie night under the stars, on Friday night by the hotel pool. This is a Disney movie and they also do decorate a cookie. When the film ends, the sky lights up with the famous Disneyland firework show.

This hotel has an on-site guest laundry as well as having a gift shop on-site. There is an outdoor pool and whirlpool, for the guests to use. The fitness room has been renovated and has all the basics. There is a business centre here, with all the things you need before a meeting.

The Onyx Restaurant is on-site and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Here children under the age of 12 eat free, with a paying adult. There is room service at this hotel, which operates from 6am till 12pm then from 4pm till 10pm. Relax at the Onyx Bar, that is also on-site, and there is a happy hour special from 4pm till 7pm.

Rooms have cable TV as well as pay per view movies. There is Wi-Fi in the rooms and there is also a pillow menu, so you can choose the pillow that will give you the best sleep. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean.
